Job Overview
- ·Assist the Kitchen Manager in overseeing the Kitchen Line and Pizza Line.
- ·Review preparation and production procedures to ensure proper holding/heating temperatures, rotation, flavor, quality, and presentation of food.
- · Continually engage in the development of key leadership skills to remove conflict within your team.
- · As a Kitchen Manager, it is a priority to always go above and beyond to provide top notch hospitality to our guests.
- · Implement recipes for food items according to established specifications.
- · Place vendor orders.
- · Assist the Kitchen Manager in review schedules weekly to ensure appropriate customer service and prepping needs.
- ·Ensure sanitation guidelines are implemented and followed by employees.
- · Create par-levels and oversee ordering of inventory.
- · Maintain vendor files and ensure accuracy of information.
- · Ensure proper education and training of staff is conducted on safe handling, preparation, production, and presentation methods.
- · Create a prep list and assign it to Pizza Makers and Line Cooks.
- · Perform opening and closing procedures for the Front of House and Back of House.
- · Participate in the balancing procedures for monies collected by the location.
- · Assist Kitchen by working side by side with them on the line.
- · Conduct kitchen staff meetings.
- · Coordinate and staff special events/orders.
- · Maintain kitchen cleanliness.
- · Responsible for creating daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules in the general cleanliness of the facility.
- · Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work 40-45 hours per week, inlcuding weekends and holidays.
- ·Manager Food Safety Certification
