Delaney's in McKinney is currently hiring Kitchen Assistants for either full-time or part-time. We are willing to train Team Members and promote Team Members from within our organization. Kitchen Assistant/Dishwasher job description contain a variety of functions and roles including:
• Pre-rinsing and cleaning dishes utilizing a commercial dishwasher or by hand.
• Unloading deliveries from suppliers.
• Preparation of basic food.
• Organizing the storeroom.
• Cleaning kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.

Kitchen Assistant job description include these common skills and qualifications:
• A minimum of 16 years of age.
• High school diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in school.
• Experience assisting in kitchens, if not we are willing to train.
• Obtain a Texas Food Handler's License, within 14 days of hire.
• Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations.
• Ability to carry out tasks quickly and competently.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to work in a team.
• Ability to use your initiative.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
