Job Summary

Responsibilities 

  • Assist servers by bussing tables promptly and efficiently, ensuring a clean and inviting dining space for guests
  • Support food running duties by delivering dishes from the kitchen to the appropriate tables with care and accuracy
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas through regular cleaning, sanitizing, and organizing of tables, chairs, and service stations
  • Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures during service and preparation support
  • Assist with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or linens while practicing safe lifting techniques
  • Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed to ensure timely service
  • Provide in-person customer service by greeting guests warmly, responding to their needs courteously, and supporting overall guest satisfaction

Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
  • Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while adhering to safe lifting practices
  • Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact positively with guests
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Familiarity with banquet service, catering support, or hotel operations is advantageous
  • A proactive attitude with excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating welcoming guest experiences
