Job Description
The Libretto Restaurant Group - operators of Pizzeria Libretto & Enoteca Sociale - are currently searching for a restaurant manager. The restaurant manager will be responsible for helping the restaurant meet service goals and sales standards, while continually exceeding guest expectations.
· Confidently and politely address elevated customer queries
· Maintain good customer and public relations with guests, vendors, and suppliers
· Maintain cleanliness and working condition of all equipment through personal inspection, following the restaurant’s preventative maintenance programs
· Receive and keep an accurate record of deliveries in accordance with the restaurant’s receiving policies and procedures
· Oversee restaurant opening and closing procedures, including completion of opening and closing checklists
· Conduct recruitment and training of FOH staff
· Create weekly employee schedules
· Responsible for inventory, purchase orders and placing orders for all liquor, beer and small ware items
· Ensure compliance with cash control procedures
· Complete daily shift end reports and follow up at line up the next day
· Proven ability to lead a team and be a motivational team player
· Smart Serve certification required
· Knowledgeable and passionate about wines, spirits and alcoholic beverages
· Ability to work efficiently and consistently in a fast paced environment
· Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
· Results-driven
· 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry
