Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Chop, mix, season, and cook various ingredients using methods like grilling, frying, baking, or boiling.
- Recipe Adherence: Prepare dishes consistently by following recipes and portion standards.
- Quality & Presentation: Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet standards, garnishing dishes appropriately.
- Sanitation & Safety: Maintain a clean workstation, sanitize equipment, and follow all health and safety regulations (e.g., ServSafe).
- Inventory & Stock: Check ingredient quality, manage stock, and store food correctly to prevent spoilage.
- Kitchen Operations: Assist other cooks, operate kitchen equipment, and perform other duties as assigned.
