We’re looking for friendly, fast, high-energy bartenders who know how to create a great guest experience, make solid drinks, keep a clean bar, and bring good vibes every shift.
Ditch is a tacos, tequila, and beach food restaurant with a fun, casual, surf-inspired atmosphere. Our bartenders are a huge part of the experience — not just making drinks, but making people feel welcomed, taken care of, and excited to come back.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve cocktails, margaritas, beer, wine, shots, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Provide friendly, upbeat, and attentive service to guests at the bar and throughout the restaurant
- Know the food and drink menu well enough to guide guests and make recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked bar throughout the shift
- Follow recipes, portioning, and company standards consistently
- Check IDs and follow all NYS alcohol service laws and safety guidelines
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Work as a team with servers, hosts, bussers, kitchen staff, and management
- Help create the Ditch vibe: fun, welcoming, fast-paced, and hospitality-first
What We’re Looking For
- Previous bartending experience preferred
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and stay calm during busy shifts
- Positive attitude and team-first mentality
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable working nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of tequila, margaritas, and cocktails is a plus
- Must meet legal requirements to serve alcohol in New York
Schedule
Part-time and full-time positions available. Night and weekend availability is strongly preferred.
Compensation
Hourly rate plus tips. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
