Job Overview

Purpose:
The Bartender is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional bar service while preparing beverages accurately, maintaining a clean bar, and delivering an excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests and provide prompt, friendly service.
  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards.
  • Take food and drink orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
  • Serve bar guests and prepare drinks for the dining room.
  • Verify identification and follow all responsible alcohol service laws and restaurant policies.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar.
  • Handle cash, payments, and end-of-shift cash-out accurately.
  • Complete opening, restocking, and closing duties.
  • Work closely with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.

  • Strong communication and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Smart Serve certification (required where applicable).
