Job Overview

Job Purpose: To greet (both arriving and departing) and seat all club members and guests in a friendly manner and assists in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Open door for guests arriving and departing
  • Accommodate any special needs of guests, i.e., boosters, highchairs, disabilities
  • Manage the wait list when the restaurant is full
  • Provide guest assistance to servers as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and completes cleaning as assigned, including but not limited to: wipe down table tops, table legs, pick up debris off the floor and wipe down booth seats, highchairs, and booster seats in all areas of the restaurant
  • Perform routine bathroom checks to ensure cleanliness and all items stocked


  • Ability to stand and exert a well-paced mobility for periods up to four (4) hours in length
  • Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and other employees
  • Ability to lift and transport objects (such as high-chair) up to 15 pounds throughout shift
  • Ability to frequently bend and reach
