Role Summary

You’re the engine that keeps service humming. Our Server Support team preps and finishes desserts, builds non-alcoholic beverages, assembles side salads, and runs food & drinks so guests get hot food hot and cold food cold—fast, accurate, and with a smile. You’ll work closely with servers, expo, and kitchen to uphold Pinchers’ values: Welcome, Connect, Inspire, Grow, Respect.

What You’ll Do

  • Desserts & NA Beverages
    Finish and plate desserts to spec; maintain par levels and garnishes.
    Prepare non-alcoholic beverages (fountain, tea, coffee, lemonades, mocktails) with consistent recipes and presentation.
  • Salads & Cold Prep
    Assemble side salads to recipe standards; restock stations and rotate product (FIFO).
  • Run Food & Drinks
    Deliver items from expo to table quickly; carry large trays safely; announce dishes confidently and verify seat positions.
    Perform quality checks (temps, garnishes, modifiers, allergen flags) before leaving the window.
  • Guest Support
    Anticipate needs (refills, extra plates/utensils, sauces); assist with pre-bussing to keep tables tidy.
    Jump in on high-volume moments (events, weekends) to keep ticket times on target.
  • Cleanliness & Organization
    Keep dessert, salad, and beverage stations clean, stocked, and labeled; polish glassware and silver.
    Follow food safety, allergy, and sanitation standards; complete opening/closing sidework.
  • Team Communication
    Communicate 86’d items, long-fire dishes, and rushes; use radios/Expo calls with clarity.
    Support servers with running sidework and coordinate with hosts on staging large parties.

What You Bring

  • Positive, guest-first attitude and strong sense of urgency.
  • Clear communication and teamwork under pressure.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, stand/walk for 6–8 hours, and carry large trays safely.
  • Food Handler certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
  • Prior food runner/server assistant experience is a plus, but we’ll train the right person.

Schedule & Availability

  • Evenings, weekends, and select holidays required (restaurant peak hours).
  • Flexibility for special events (e.g., Dinner & Bingo).

Success Looks Like (KPIs)

  • Ticket times: Dessert/NA bev completion in ≤ 4 minutes; window-to-table delivery ≤ 60 seconds.
  • Accuracy: 0 remakes due to missing modifiers/garnishes on your runs.
  • Station readiness: Par levels met; sidework completed and signed off.
  • Guest satisfaction: Positive mentions/low comps tied to service support.
