Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Billing Specialist / Bookkeeper / File Clerk to manage billing processes, maintain accurate financial records, and organize digital files. The ideal candidate is organized, trustworthy, and comfortable handling confidential information in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, and process invoices and billing statements
  • Maintain accounts receivable and payable records
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including data entry and reconciliations
  • Track payments, follow up on outstanding balances, and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Organize, maintain, and update digital files and records
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures
  • Assist with reports and financial documentation as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in billing, bookkeeping, or clerical/file management roles
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar accounting software (preferred)
