the dining room running smoothly so every guest feels taken care of. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy, helping others, and making people feel at home.

Position Summary

The Host/Busser position is responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing seating and flow of the dining room, assisting servers, and keeping tables clean and ready for the next guest. You help set the tone for every dining experience and make sure service runs like clockwork. You are also the first person guest see when they arrive and the last person they have contact with when leaving, making your impression one of the most important.

Key Responsibilities

· Greet and seat guests promptly with a smile and friendly attitude.
· Keep an accurate waitlist and communicate clearly with guests and servers.
· Buss and reset tables quickly and efficiently following cleanliness standards.
· Refill drinks or assist servers during busy times when needed.
· Check restrooms and dining room regularly for cleanliness and supplies.
· Assist in rolling silverware, restocking stations, and sweeping floors.
· Work as a team to make sure guests always feel welcome and cared for.
· Maintain calm and composure during rush periods.
· Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness policies.
· Uphold our “Hospitality First” culture with every interaction.

By the end of your first 30 days, you should:
· Greet and seat guests confidently and manage the waitlist independently.
· Reset and clean tables to standard within 2 minutes.
· Anticipate team needs (refills, bussing, restocking) without being asked.
· Receive positive feedback from guests or teammates.
· Demonstrate understanding of floor layout, table numbers, and server sections.
· Maintain consistent attendance and a great attitude.
