Job Overview

We're looking for a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Shift Manager to help lead our team and ensure every guest has an exceptional dining experience. If you're passionate about hospitality, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy leading others, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities 

  • Lead and supervise restaurant and bar staff during assigned shifts.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
  • Open and/or close the restaurant according to company procedures.
  • Assign duties, manage employee breaks, and keep the team organized and productive.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and sanitation.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, alcohol service, and company policies.
  • Assist with cash handling, drawer counts, deposits, and end-of-shift reports.
  • Monitor labor throughout the shift and communicate staffing needs.
  • Support training and coaching of new and existing employees.
  • Step in wherever needed to ensure smooth operations, including assisting servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding shift performance, maintenance issues, inventory concerns, and employee matters.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or bar leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and work extended periods on your feet.
