The Canadian Golf and Country club is a 27-hole course located 15 minutes west of Stittsville off of Highway 7.
Please note that no public transportation comes out to our location, personal vehicle is required.
Responsibilities include:
We are looking for a passionate, committed, flexible individual who can prep and cook for a full service menu to include breakfast, lunch, buffets, and group menus for golf tournaments, parties and special events. This is a seasonal position, from end of April until late October.
Accountabilities:

  • Consistently following kitchen standard operating procedures
  • Promote a safe and sanitized work area
  • Able to meet and maintain standards set by the Chef.
  • Food portion, monitor and minimize waste.
  • Work with BOH kitchen staff to prepare, cook and plate all dishes for our menu’s.
  • Able to multitask and pay attention to details.
  • Maintain a positive attitude toward the job being performed.
  • Report to work on time (as scheduled) and in proper uniform that you provided.

Job Requirements:

  • 1 years’ experience is recommended but not mandatory in a Food & Beverage environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast past environment.
  • Pleasant, respectful and professional when communicating with others.
  • Willing to work on your own and with a team.
  • Detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Well- organized, attention to detail and can work effectively under tight time restraints
  • Able to perform physically demanding duties (standing, lifting, walking).
