Responsibilities

  • Interact regularly with customers ensuring a positive experience
  • Coordinate and facilitate staff member's tasks to ensure timely execution
  • Hold the team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed.
  • Ensure the team provides fast, friendly, and accurate service.
  • Train and develop new team members to company standards.
  • Motivate staff while working towards one goal.
  • Contributes to the team morale by displaying enthusiasm and commitment by word and action.
  • Ensures customers receive their orders accurately and within the quoted promise times.
  • Ensures shift execution (pre/post-shift checklists, game plans, and dough plans).
  • Models performance standards (primary responsibility to direct & coach, secondary responsibility to assist).
  • Takes personal responsibility and ownership for managing Product Quality, Service, and Prosperity.
  • Acts in a timely and decisive manner to adjust staffing for business volume changes.
  • Controls food cost components of waste, prep, weights, portioning, and theft during shifts.
  • Demonstrates, trains, and enforces operating norms, including but not limited to uniform policy, attendance, safety procedures, cleanliness.
  • Opens and/or closes the restaurant with proper administrative procedures and completes assigned paperwork.
  • Assist in the production of the kitchen to ensure a smooth service and standards at all times.
  • Ensures Associates understand and follow the food safety & personal hygiene standards.
  • Manages the people, product, and equipment in the restaurant to deliver the Mission & Promise.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with customers and co-workers
  • Possess a positive attitude and ethics which support our values and culture
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant
  • Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize
  • And, you're at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license, reliable transportation (not public transportation – you may need to drive to make deposits for the restaurant sometimes) and a true desire to learn and grow.
