Job Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Line Cook, your primary duties will include:

  • Preparing food items according to recipes and menu specifications.
  • Working quickly and efficiently on the line to meet service demands.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your work station.
  • Ensuring food quality, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met.
  • Assisting with kitchen prep tasks and ensuring that ingredients are properly prepped, stored, and labeled.
  • Communicating effectively with other kitchen staff and the front-of-house team.
  • Adhering to health and safety guidelines, including sanitation and proper food handling procedures.
  • Assisting with opening and closing procedures as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook is not required, but always a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques is a plus.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • 9am-4pm or later availability.
