Server – St. Patrick’s Steakhouse
Location: 15022 Lincoln Ave, Dolton, IL 60419
Position Overview:
At St. Patrick’s Steakhouse, our servers are the face of the guest experience. We are looking for friendly, professional, and detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering an upscale dining experience. Servers must be knowledgeable about our menu, deliver exceptional service, and maintain a polished, welcoming presence at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them through the menu with confidence.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them promptly into the POS system.
  • Understand and communicate menu offerings, including steaks, specialties, wine pairings, and cocktails.
  • Ensure food and drinks are delivered hot, timely, and exactly as ordered.
  • Manage tables efficiently, including pre-bussing and resetting.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and managers to ensure seamless service.
  • Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase check averages.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly, professionally, and graciously.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
  • Follow all opening, side work, and closing procedures.
  • Adhere to all food safety, health, and safety guidelines.
  • Uphold St. Patrick’s standards for appearance, conduct, and service excellence.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a full-service, high-volume restaurant preferred.
  • Must be familiar with Toast POS system for taking orders and processing payments.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be punctual, professional, and have a teamwork-first attitude.
  • Knowledge of fine dining service standards is a plus.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Must maintain a polished, professional appearance at all times.
