Job Overview

We are a tea room and café in downtown Denver in search of a energetic, and well-organized Lead Line/Prep Cook. The food menu currently includes an assortment of sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and daily afternoon tea service. We have house made dressings, curds, and chicken salad you will be trained to prepare as well. Top-notch presentation, and delicious tasting recipes is our priority!   Responsibilities 

  • Responsible for ensuring consistent high quality food preparation and service.
  • Follow sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances.
  • Work closely and communicate regularly with BOH & FOH Team Members to complete time sensitive food orders & prep tasks.
  • Prepare a variety of sandwiches, salads, dressings, and other menu items
  • Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, and appearance standards.
  • Be mindful of portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
