Host Responsibilities

  • Greet every guest with a friendly, genuine welcome and create a great first impression.
  • Manage the waitlist and seating chart to ensure an efficient flow of service.
  • Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
  • Answer phones, assist with reservations, and respond to guest inquiries.
  • Communicate wait times accurately and keep guests informed.
  • Coordinate with servers and managers to maximize seating efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
  • Assist with light side work and support the front-of-house team as needed.
  • Thank guests as they leave and invite them back for another visit.

  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay organized and composed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Dependable with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the shift.
  • Evening, weekend, and holiday availability.
  • Restaurant or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
