Job Overview

Look for a fill in position? We are in need to team members to be trained and then fill in as needed. You keep your eye on our digital scheduling platform and pick up shifts when they open. May lead to more shifts over time as we get closer to summer time. Friendly, enthusiastic and hard working team members will be trained in all aspects of the quick service restaurant with most focus on customer relations, barista, & cashier.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door
  • Take order and pay out ticket
  • Make coffee and espresso drinks
  • Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods
  • Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment
  • Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed
  • Memorizing the menu and recommend appetizers, meals and drinks
  • Answer phones
  • Cleaning and stocking of the restaurant
  • Collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff for prompt and correct delivery of orders
  • Delivering a memorable dining experience by resolving all customer issues promptly
  • Assisting with the tidying of tables, clearing leftovers and keeping the dining area neat and pleasant
  • Help rearrange the dining area to accommodate larger groups and prepare the restaurant for special events
  • Help with cleaning of all areas of the restaurant.
  • All other duties assigned by management

Skills

  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • High level of stamina to work to work on feet for extended periods
  • Ability to work well under time pressure
  • Dedication to on-time arrival for shifts
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and carry trays, plates and small wares
  • Available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
  • Ability to safely cary food or beverages
  • Polite and hospitable attitude
