Food Runners at The Slice Pizza play a key role in delivering a smooth, high‑energy dining experience by ensuring food reaches guests quickly, accurately, and with great presentation. This position supports both servers and the kitchen, keeping service flowing and guests happy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver food to tables promptly, accurately, and with proper presentation
  • Confirm order accuracy and communicate any issues to servers or kitchen staff
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items to answer basic guest questions
  • Assist in keeping the expo line organized, stocked, and clean
  • Support servers by clearing tables, resetting sections, and assisting with guest needs
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure smooth service
  • Help maintain cleanliness in the dining room, expo area, and service stations
  • Assist with opening, closing, and side‑work duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to move quickly and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
