Role Overview:
As a Prep Cook, you’ll help lay the foundation for a successful kitchen by preparing high-quality ingredients and supporting the line during service. Your attention to detail and culinary skills will be key in delivering exceptional dishes that showcase the season's best flavors.
Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients, including chopping, slicing, and portioning, following recipes and established standards.
  • Support cooking techniques like grilling, sautéing, and frying, ensuring quality and speed.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Plate and garnish dishes with care, focusing on presentation and consistency.
  • Communicate with teammates to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Assist with inventory, deliveries, and rotating stock.

Qualifications:

  • Food Handler's Certificate required.
  • Previous experience in a prep cook or similar role preferred, but not required.
  • A culinary degree is a plus, but not necessary.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and teamwork.
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
