Location: The Edge Seafood Restaurant and Skybar, Destin, FL
Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Reports To: Floor Manager/MOD
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
Greet and welcome guests promptly, engaging them with a warm and professional
demeanor.
Provide detailed information about the menu, including specials, ingredients, and
allergens.
Make informed recommendations for food and drink pairings to enhance the dining
experience.
Anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service throughout their visit.
Order Management
Accurately take and input orders into the POS system.
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct preparation of orders.
Deliver food and beverages to the correct table with a focus on presentation and
accuracy.
Table Maintenance
Monitor tables and maintain a clean, organized dining area.
Refill beverages, clear used plates, and provide any requested items promptly.
Handle guest inquiries, special requests, or concerns with professionalism and escalate
issues when necessary.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with other servers, food runners, and bussers to ensure smooth service flow.
Support team members during busy shifts by assisting with clearing tables, running food,
or resetting areas.
Communicate effectively with management and staff to uphold service standards.
Other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 1 year of serving experience in a high-volume restaurant
preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
Knowledge: Familiarity with POS systems and ability to learn menu and bar offerings
quickly.
Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and climb stairs for extended periods; lift and
carry up to 25 lbs.
Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
