Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hard-working Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As the backbone of our daily operations, you will ensure that the kitchen stays organized, the chefs have the tools they need, and our guests dine on spotless tableware.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning & Sanitizing: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashers or by hand.
  • Organization: Maintain a clean and tidy dish pit; ensure clean items are stored in their proper places immediately.
  • Kitchen Support: Assist with basic food prep (e.g., peeling vegetables) during slow periods or as requested by the Chef.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans, sweep and mop kitchen floors, and ensure the loading dock/recycling area is clean.
  • Safety Standards: Follow all health and safety regulations, including the proper handling of chemicals and hot equipment.
    Requirements
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, move quickly, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are non-negotiable.
  • Team Player: A positive attitude and the ability to communicate effectively with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a restaurant is a plus, but we are happy to train anyone with a great attitude!Responsibilities
