Food & Beverage Staff & Beverage Cart Girl Job Description:
First foremost you are a bartender before being able to step into our beverage carts.
*Interact and serve guest with a smile, neat appearance, pleasant and professional manner. A positive attitude is a must.
*Must be in uniform at all times while working.
*Always provide a high level of service to the members by practicing member recognition.
*Is a self-starter with the ability to start and finish tasks with little direction
*Serve guest at their table of choice. Take food and drink orders, turn them in to the kitchen
*Effectively communicate to members/guests of any & all menu options and answer any questions they may have.
*Ensure your members/guests are enjoying their meals and take immediate action to correct any problems.
*Clean and reset table after member/guest has left, ensuring that the table is ready for the next guest.
*Take orders and deliver them to the table in a timely manner.
-This includes all food, snacks and drink orders.
*Write the members/guests' food orders on order slips and enter orders into the point-of-sale system.
*Deliver checks and accept payments with good money handling skills.
*Work with other staff as a team but also must be able to work as an individual.
*Put up any orders that are delivered during your shift. Make sure you have checked the invoice to ensure all products are accounted for.
*Must be able to work long hours and in various weather conditions
*Make sure the bar is stocked with everything to get through the day
*Make sure to keep bar, dining room and pool area clean and organized throughout the day. Clean as you go.
*Must be at least 18 years of age per TABC Law to serve alcohol/liquor
*Check ID on alcohol sales and watching for signs of over serving
*Performs special projects delegated by management
*Help managers with setting up for events and tournaments
*Count down the POS on a daily basis and at the end of the shift.
*Washes and cleans equipment, food preparation areas and tables, while maintaining the highest possible standards of sanitation.
*Prepares and serves all food and drinks to golf course customers.
*Operates cash register and makes change to maintain accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
*Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
*Ability to prep and serve a wide range of food and beverage
***POOL:**Make sure the guest are abiding by the guest limit rules by the pool as well as all pool rules
*Bev Cart: Must be able to follow the rules of golf etiquette when approaching a golf group
*Bev Cart: Being responsible for providing refreshments to members and golfers during their golf game
*Bev Cart: Performs cart set up and break down procedures; contributes to overall cleanliness and organization of the cart, golf course and facilities
