Job Title: Bartender

Job Summary: The Bartender is responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, engaging with guests, and ensuring a vibrant bar atmosphere. They must have strong mixology skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following recipes and restaurant standards
  • Greet guests, take drink orders, and provide recommendations based on preferences
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar, including glassware, garnishes, and liquor supplies
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming and lively bar experience
  • Process payments accurately using the POS system
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible serving guidelines
  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Follow all safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • Assist with bar opening and closing duties

Qualifications:

  • Previous bartending experience required, preferably in a high-volume setting
  • Knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
  • Must meet legal age requirements to serve alcohol
  • Bartender certification or state-required alcohol service training preferred
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
