Harlem Hookah is an award-winning bar
and lounge located in Central Harlem. Harlem Hookah specializes in authentic
hookah from Egypt, premium cocktail offers, and tasty bites in an upscale,
modern, and personable environment. We pride ourselves in being a welcoming
environment for all and a haven in the heart of our community. We have been
rebuilding our business and staff since the onset of COVID-19 and are looking
for a dynamic leader with experience but also the hunger to always learn and

Shift Manager- Responsibilities:
Opening and/or closing the restaurant
Greeting and assisting customers
Managing and supervising restaurant staff
Enforcing restaurant standards, rules, regulations and steps of service amongst the staff
Maintaining inventory and ordering food supplies
Conducting performance reviews
Training employees
Maintaining restaurant equipment
Tracking daily costs and revenues
Resolving customer complaints
Resolving conflict between staff members
Ensuring a clean and tidy work environment
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience
as a Shift Manager in a restaurant, bar, lounge or nightclub or similar role
Basic bookkeeping skills
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong time management skills
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent multi-tasking skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Flexibility to work different shifts

NYC Food Handlers Certification
Schedule:
Harlem Hookah is open Tuesday through Sunday. Shifts
range anywhere from 3 pm to 3 am, and servers can be scheduled to work anywhere
during those times. We are looking for candidates with flexibility and open
availability.
Job Pay:
$20 per hour
