Job Overview

Responsibilities 

  • Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, professional service.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and ingredients.
  • Serve food and drinks in a timely manner.
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Refill beverages, provide additional items, and accommodate special requests.
  • Process guest payments accurately and handle cash, credit card, and gift card transactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
  • Set up and reset tables according to restaurant standards.
  • Assist with side work, including stocking supplies, rolling silverware, and cleaning duties.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Help create a welcoming dining experience that encourages repeat business.
  • Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Support restaurant operations by assisting in other areas when needed.
