Job Overview

Busser works in the back of restaurants, cleaning dishes and clearing tables. They stock supplies for their colleagues who are on the front lines serving customers as well as making sure flatware is available at any given time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a clean and pleasant dining experience by clearing and sanitizing and resetting the tables
  • Ensure the restaurant is well stocked with necessary items such as silverware, plates, napkins, and cups for water glasses
  • Maintain health and safety regulations at all kitchen and dining areas
  • Keep floors and chairs near the dining tables are clean by sweeping and mopping
  • Assist serves with food delivery

Skills and Qualifications

  • Excellent customer service and people skills
  • Knowledge of food sanitation and safety policies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
