POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a high-caliber Restaurant Front of House Shift Supervisor with a proven track record of exceptional measurable performance in a high-volume restaurant operation. The Shift Supervisor delivers strong results by developing our People, Process, and Profits. ROLES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
People
Direct supervision of all Front of House restaurant employees on a daily basis, ensuring policies and processes are being followed and inspecting operational flow on a continuous basis.
Partner with our General Manager and Assistant Manager to ensure cohesiveness between all front of house staff.
Process
Maintains operations by enforcing policies and standard operating procedures; implementing production, productivity, quality, and guest-service standards; determining and implementing system improvements.
Maintains safe, secure, and healthy restaurant by following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations.
Achieves company goals by accepting ownership for completing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Profit
Follows our GM's lead in Staffing and scheduling appropriately to manage labor, as well as ensuring policies are followed to monitor liquor costs.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of at least 2 years as a Front of House Supervisor in a high-volume restaurant.
Proven leadership skills.
High school diploma or equivalent (4-year degree and/or course work in restaurant management a plus).
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays (25-30 Hours per Week).
Exceptional guest service skills.
Knowledge of computers (software & hardware), Microsoft Office skills.
Knowledge of Toast POS desired.
Knowledge of labor laws, health codes, safe food handling and sanitation, safety and security systems and procedures.
Organization, planning, and time management skills.
Strong guest service skills.
Must be able to lift / carry items up to 40 lbs. and push / pull items up to 75 lbs
Required to work in different range of climates (Warm/Cold).
Need to be able to tolerate different allergens: Peanuts, Egg, Dairy, Gluten, Soy, Seafood, and Shellfish
Must be able to stand 9-10 hours a day on average
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: Up to $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
