What You'll Do

  • Follow company procedures and both food safety and workplace safety policies
  • Set up and maintain a clean, well-organized workstation stocked with the right ingredients and equipment
  • Prepare ingredients and products precisely to recipes, portion guides, and quality standards
  • Label, date, cover, store, and rotate inventory using first-in, first-out (FIFO) principles
  • Collaborate with managers to plan and execute daily preparation schedules
  • Monitor stock levels, restock items on time, and record end-of-shift inventory on standardized sheets
  • Operate and maintain dishwasher systems, including chemical replenishment and temperature checks
  • Help with trash removal and cleaning storage bins

What We're Looking For

  • Previous food-service experience or a solid grasp of basic cooking fundamentals
  • Ability to read and follow recipes exactly
  • Sound understanding of food allergies and foodborne illness prevention
  • Basic math skills for measurements and portion control
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Availability for early-morning shifts, weekends, and public holidays
