Job Overview

Responsibilities 

  • Efficiently deliver prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables or designated service areas, maintaining quality and presentation standards
  • Assist with food plating, garnishing, and ensuring dishes meet safety and cleanliness standards before delivery
  • Support the kitchen team by bussing tables, clearing plates, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
  • Communicate clearly with kitchen staff regarding order accuracy, special requests, or timing adjustments using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS if applicable
  • Restock supplies in service stations and assist with setup for large parties or banquet events
  • Ensure food safety protocols are followed at all times during handling and delivery processes
  • Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and ensuring a positive dining experience
    Experience
  • Previous experience in food service, restaurant operations, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures and safety standards
  • Experience with serving, bussing, or food preparation roles enhances your ability to excel in this position
  • Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided
  • Experience working in banquet settings or hotel food service environments is advantageous
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are vital for engaging with guests and team members effectively
  • Prior kitchen experience or culinary background can be beneficial in understanding food presentation and safety practices
