Position: Part-Time Team Member
- Reports to: FOH or BOH Team Lead, Shift Supervisor, Store Manager
- Hours: Flexible part-time shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Position Type: FOH or BOH (assigned upon hire)
Position Overview
Team Members at RattleSnake Grill are trained to work specific stations within their assigned position (FOH or BOH) and may rotate or be cross-trained if desired. Responsibilities include maintaining food quality, portion control, cleanliness, and efficiency while delivering a positive experience for customers.
Key Responsibilities
FOH Team Member
- Work at assigned assembly line station:
Base & Protein: Add fries/rice and meats
Sauces: Add sauces and toppings
Finishers: Add lettuce, guac, corn, pico, sour cream, etc. - Operate register and process orders accurately
- Maintain patio and dining area cleanliness and organization
- Clean and sanitize FOH assembly line stations
- Restock ingredients, condiments, utensils, and napkins as needed
- Assist with takeout orders
BOH Team Member
- Operate assigned station: Grill, Fryers, Prep, or BOH Cleaning
- Follow portioning and cooking standards
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety protocols
- Restock prep ingredients for assembly line
- Assist teammates during rush periods
Cross-Training (Optional)
- Team Members may request cross-training in the other position (FOH ↔ BOH)
- Cross-training allows employees to gain new skills and expand promotion opportunities
Skills & Competencies
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for portioning, assembly, and cleanliness
- Basic math for cash handling and portion measurements
- Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
Requirements
- Minimum age: 16+
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 lbs occasionally
- Flexible availability, including weekends and evenings
- Food handler certification preferred but not required (training provided)
