Job Summary:
As a bartender at our esteemed fine-dining Italian-American restaurant located on the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, you will play a pivotal role in creating an unforgettable dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include expertly crafting and serving a wide range of classic and specialty cocktails, maintaining an extensive knowledge of our wine list and recommending pairings to enhance the dining experience, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the overall ambiance and prestige of our establishment.
Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a memorable first impression.
• Take drink orders from guests, offering guidance and recommendations as needed based on their preferences and our menu offerings.
• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, including Bottle service, signature creations, with precision and attention to detail.
• Provide in-depth knowledge of our wine list, including varietals, regions, and vintages, and offer personalized recommendations to complement guests' meals.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including bar tops, glassware, utensils, and POS equipment, adhering to high sanitation standards.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels of bar supplies, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and glassware, and coordinate with management for restocking as needed.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain a balanced cash drawer throughout the shift.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, anticipating their needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen and serving staff to coordinate orders, ensure efficient service, and maintain a cohesive team environment.
• Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations and policies, including responsible alcohol service practices.
• Stay updated on current food and beverage trends, menu offerings, and promotions to provide accurate information and enhance the guest experience.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a bartender with
• Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktail recipes, mixology techniques.
• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with discerning clientele.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional quality in beverage preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods and move freely around the bar area.
• Capacity to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects, such as cases of liquor and bags of ice.
• Manual dexterity for handling glassware, utensils, and equipment with precision.
• Stamina to work long shifts in a demanding environment.
