Key Responsibilities:

  • **Event Leadership and Execution:**Lead on-site catering events, ensuring exceptional service and quality.
    Coordinate and oversee event setup and execution, adapting to various settings and customer needs.
    Manage the food truck team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to standard.
  • **Customer Engagement:**Provide a welcoming and positive experience for customers, engaging with guests to ensure satisfaction.
    Resolve any customer issues with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
  • **Operational Excellence:**Ensure the food truck operates smoothly, maintaining Little Italy’s standards for quality and service.
    Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring the truck is stocked for each event.
    Oversee food preparation, ensuring dishes meet our high-quality standards.
    Implement and monitor health and safety protocols, ensuring compliance at all events.
  • **Team Development:**Train and develop team members, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
    Motivate and coach the food truck team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • **Administrative Duties:**Handle administrative tasks related to event booking, scheduling, and logistics.
    Complete pre/post-event paperwork and ensure accurate sales reporting.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food service management, catering, or a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and operational management.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • ServSafe certification or equivalent food handler's certification preferred.
