Key Responsibilities

  • Drink Preparation: Mix and serve craft cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options matching the restaurant's standards and recipes.
  • Guest Service: Greet patrons warmly, offer menu and drink recommendations, and build a welcoming environment.
  • Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar stocked, clean, and prepped with fresh garnishes, ice, and glassware.
  • Operations: Take orders via the POS system, process cash/card payments, and complete safe opening/closing duties.
  • Compliance: Check IDs to verify legal drinking age and adhere to local liquor laws and safety/sanitation guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Legal Age: Must meet the legal age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages in Illinois.
  • Experience: Previous food service, hospitality, or bartending experience preferred; mixology certification is a plus.
  • Skills: Strong multitasking, basic math, and clear communication abilities.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items (up to 25–30 lbs).
  • Availability: Flexible scheduling, including night and weekend shifts.
