We are looking to add to our kitchen team!

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals to order
  • Familiariety with recipes, policies, procedures, and standard portion sizes
  • Prepare ingredients and components of each recipe on the restaurant’s regular and catering menus
  • Maintain product freshness and rotate out old inventory
  • Work with kitchen team to handle varying levels of activity
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times
  • Be aware of and follow all kitchen health and safety rules, regulations, and guidelines
  • Work with Head Chef to determine and fill prep and service needs
  • Other duties as required

Skills and qualifications

  • Experience in using different cooking tools, equipment, and utensils
  • Professional knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Understanding of food preparation techniques
  • Able to withstand long hours of standing, bending, and moving around
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Basic knowledge of mathematics to make correct measurements of ingredients
  • Ability to follow recipe instructions
  • Professional and responsible conduct
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
  • Teamwork skills
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Organizational skills
