Job Summary
The PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and plating menu items during evening service, ensuring high-quality execution in a fast-paced scratch kitchen. This role focuses on cooking, assembling, and managing the line using prepped ingredients, while maintaining cleanliness and responding to customer feedback. Key Responsibilities
- Line Cooking: Prepare and cook menu items (e.g., steaks, seafood pasta, flatbreads) to order, ensuring proper seasoning and doneness (e.g., addressing undercooked steaks) during peak evening hours (~17 hr/day team effort).
- Assembly: Plate dishes using pre-portioned ingredients (e.g., lasagna, burgers), maintaining presentation standards and adjusting based on recent feedback (e.g., avoiding soupy lasagna).
