**Role Summary:**Fancy's is seeking a dependable, high-energy Barback to support our bar team and help deliver the seamless, elevated experience our guests expect. In this role you will keep the bar fully stocked, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and serve as the operational backbone that allows our bartenders to focus on the guest. We are looking for someone who is proactive, coachable, and genuinely invested in the success of the team around them.
Responsibilities:

• Support bartenders in preparing and executing service throughout each shift.
• Ensure the bar is fully stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and ice at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area including counters, wells, and glassware throughout service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties including setup, breakdown, and restocking.
• Clear and wash glassware promptly to maintain service flow during high-volume periods.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Perform additional tasks as directed by the bar or management team.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid Texas Food Handler certification required, TABC certification preferred.
• Previous experience in an upscale or high-volume bar or restaurant setting preferred.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours, with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong time management skills and the ability to anticipate needs before they are expressed.
• Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, trustworthy, and consistently punctual.
• High energy, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to team success.
