Responsibilities

  • Proper set up of station with all necessary tools and supplies needed for each shift
  • Prepare a variety of made-to-order food
  • Use kitchen equipment such as a fryer or griddle
  • Ensure 100% product quality
  • Comply with Bar Symon kitchen rules, food presentation, and quality standards
  • Stock products to ensure smooth shift transitions
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
  • Follow proper ServeSafe guidelines
  • Assist with food prep, cleaning, and dishes during slow periods
  • Follow closing procedures according to Bar Symon policies

Skills

  • Bar Symon food preparation knowledge (can be learned during training)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while presenting properly cooked and visually appealing dishes
  • Professionalism and ability to maintain a calm composure and friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge and care of kitchen equipment
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
