Job Overview

Responsibilities

  • Operating, cleaning, and maintaining dish machines; washing pots, pans, and delicate items by hand.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing the dish area, floors, drains, and walk-in refrigerators.
  • Organizing, sorting, and restocking clean dishes and utensils to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly.
  • Removing trash, changing liners, and breaking down cardboard boxes.
  • Reporting equipment malfunctions to management and maintaining a safe, organized workspace.
  • Assisting with simple food preparation or cleaning food prep stations as needed.

Skills

  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a hot/wet environment.
  • Ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work during peak hours.
  • Ensuring all items are properly sanitized and meeting health codes.
  • Communicating effectively with cooks, servers, chef and GM.
  • Must have state Food Handlers Card or ability to get one, once starting.
