Position Summary
Kitchen Hub is looking for an energetic and motivated team member to act as a General Manager responsible for the operations of one or more Kitchen Hub locations. GM’s at Kitchen Hub are dedicated, goal oriented, and hands-on Operators.
As a GM you will manage all aspects of your location(s), ensuring your store and team are operating to their full potential. You’ve got a keen eye for the small details and you lead by example while living, breathing, and cultivating the Kitchen Hub Culture. This position requires a truly motivated, inspiring and process driven personality with a passion for delivering on staff and customer experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Operations & Customer Service
  • Identify gaps in Customer Service, and develop plans to improve
  • Conduct monthly audits of entire facility
  • Liaise between Restaurant Partners/Kitchen Managers and the Kitchen Hub team
  • Work towards a culture of 5-star customer service
  • Profitability
  • Meet and exceed financial targets including sales, cost of goods sold and labour
  • Weekly review of hourly schedules and inventory
  • Strong financial knowledge to make decisions that bolster profitability
  • People
  • Lead by example, offering a hands-on Management Style
  • Implement, Lead, Coach and Inspire team development at all levels
  • Build a talent rich team, interviewing, hiring and establishing a “promote from within culture”
  • Weekly scheduling
  • Accountable for all Human Resource functions (i.e. recruitment, coach & develop team, performance evaluations, discipline and termination)
  • Foster a Culture of “Recognition and Reward” focused on the achievement of financial metrics, performance and store ratings
  • Community & Local Marketing
  • Monitor and respond to all customer concerns
  • Increase brand awareness through community outreach
  • Proper maintenance and repairs for the entire property, internal and external

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in management of $3 million + annual sales
  • Thrives in a in a complex, fast-paced business environment
  • Ability to understand and manage a P&L
  • Proven success with both people development and leadership positions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and operate new technology
  • Food Safety Certification is preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
