Key Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment and proper procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized dish station during service
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
• Properly sort, stack, and store cleaned items in designated areas
• Assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and trash removal
• Support kitchen staff with maintaining overall cleanliness and organization
• Monitor dish machine operation and report any maintenance issues
• Keep cleaning supplies stocked and the dish area fully operational during service

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant, hotel, or commercial kitchen preferred
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
