The Slice & Pint – El Segundo
The Slice & Pint is a high-volume pizzeria in El Segundo seeking an experienced Kitchen Manager to help lead our back-of-house team. This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the Executive Chef to support daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth, efficient service.
Responsibilities include:

  • Leading BOH operations during service, including peak dinner shifts
  • Maintaining food quality, consistency, cleanliness, and food safety standards
  • Training and supporting kitchen staff
  • Managing BOH communication and handling issues as they arise
  • Assisting with ordering, inventory, and shift coverage as needed
  • Working 40+ hours per week with flexible availability

Qualifications:

  • Previous kitchen leadership or management experience
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Solid understanding of food safety and kitchen operations
  • Valid ServSafe Manager certification (required)
