Job Description Bakery Retail Store Manager Business Description:

Give Thanks Bakery is described by some as “Michigan’s Premier European Artisan Bakery”. The business was founded in 1998 and has been a fixture in the small-business-landscape of Rochester, MI, ever since. The bakery makes old world breads, many based on a sourdough starter, that take 3 days to be for sale on the shelf. We also have a broad offering of croissants, breakfast pastries, desert pastries, cakes, and cookies … all made at our main location in Rochester. We are also proud partners of many restaurants and country clubs in metro Detroit. We have the most talented bread and pastry teams, supported by our highly qualified counter staff that takes care of our retail customers’ needs. The bakery is currently open Tuesday through Saturday, closed on Sunday and Monday.
Responsibilities: The Store Manager is the owner’s representative at the retail location, ensuring the smooth operation of the daily business and providing the best customer experience imaginable.
· Act on behalf and represent the owner · Staffing and scheduling · Inventory Management for front of house items such as bags, coffee, paper towels, etc · POS responsibility · Opening and closing the store · Cleanliness · Communication with Production Teams for retail production and advance orders · Store environment … music selection, decoration, product presentation
