Position Summary
The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring guests receive their meals quickly, correctly, and with care. This position supports servers and kitchen staff by delivering food to tables, communicating clearly, and helping maintain a clean and organized dining environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure plates are properly prepared and match ticket details before leaving the kitchen
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate efficient service
- Provide guests with a positive and professional experience when delivering food
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in service stations and dining areas
- Run sauces, condiments, utensils, and other needed items to the tables
- Help pre-bus and clear tables as needed to support service flow
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
- Assist with side work and opening or closing duties as assigned
- Support the team during busy shifts and help wherever needed.
