At The Broken Yolk Cafe, we’re all about delivering great food, friendly service, and an energetic dining experience. We are looking for a Food Runner who can help keep service smooth, fast, and accurate while supporting both the front and back of house teams.

Position Summary

The Food Runner plays a key role in ensuring guests receive their meals quickly, correctly, and with care. This position supports servers and kitchen staff by delivering food to tables, communicating clearly, and helping maintain a clean and organized dining environment.

Responsibilities 

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure plates are properly prepared and match ticket details before leaving the kitchen
  • Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate efficient service
  • Provide guests with a positive and professional experience when delivering food
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in service stations and dining areas
  • Run sauces, condiments, utensils, and other needed items to the tables
  • Help pre-bus and clear tables as needed to support service flow
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and restaurant policies
  • Assist with side work and opening or closing duties as assigned
  • Support the team during busy shifts and help wherever needed.
