Job description

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Kitchen Prep at Juici Patties. The ideal candidate will assist in the preparation of high-quality ingredients and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain a clean and organized workspace and help deliver the best Jamaican patties and meals to our customers.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting (but not required), must be able to work quickly and efficiently, and be comfortable working with a variety of kitchen equipment
• This position requires an individual who is able to follow instructions, pay attention to detail, and take initiative when needed
• Comply with food safety procedures and guidelines when handling equipment
• Food Preparation Certification (required within 1 week of being hired)

Responsibilities

• The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work area
• Serve customers and fill orders accurately
• Excellence in customer service
• Communicate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
• Kitchen Staff: Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils
• Follow food safety procedures when handling food and beverages
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment

Attendance is mandatory during scheduled trainings.
