Job Overview

Tavernakaya is a family owned restaurant located on the Capitol Square serving comfort Asian food with cocktails, sakes, beers and wine. The restaurant transforms into a night club with live DJs, dance floor and a full bar on Friday and Saturday nights from 10:30pm-2am.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, and soft drinks for customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
  • Interact with bar customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Restocking supplies and keeping track of orders.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
  • Handle cash and credit transactions accurately.

Skills / Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience is required.
  • Knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Must be able to make drinks and process payments quickly and efficiently.
