Surfside Kitchen is looking for a motivated, reliable Cook to join our casual coastal gastropub culinary team. This is a full time position with 35 plus hours a week and with opportunity for overtime. Open availability is required as we are open 7 days a week and offers brunch (on weekends only), lunch and dinner and our kitchen turns out everything from pizzas and burgers to fresh fish, fried favorites, and crowd-pleasing gastropub classics.

What you’ll do:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality menu items across all dayparts
  • Follow recipes and food safety standards
  • Keep your station clean, organized, and stocked
  • Work closely with the kitchen team during service
  • Help deliver consistently great food and guest experiences

What we’re looking for:

  • At least 1 year of cooking experience
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen basics
  • Ability to stay focused and efficient under pressure
  • Positive attitude and strong team mindset
  • ServSafe certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
