Job Overview

Food service at the only Brewpub within 60 miles! We are an American fare homestyle restaurant in Salmon, Idaho. We're looking for servers to work day or evening shifts on weekdays or weekends.
Starting wage is $5.50/hr plus tips (tips are not pooled).
Required functions:

• Familiar with restaurant operations.
• Guest Service: Friendly interactions with guests.
• Attention to Detail for accurate order taking
• Organizational Skills: maintain a clean and organized work space, keep track of food orders, table/seating arrangements, manage checklists.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Able to navigate through challenges with disgruntled customers; food supply/incorrect food/beverage orders; technical services disruptions.
• Communication Skills: excellent comprehension of English language for consistent and clear communication with guests, coworkers, brewery staff and owners.
• Working knowledge of safe food handling procedures and protocol.

Required physical functions:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Bertram’s Building was built in 1890 so is grandfathered to not meet all current ADA requirements such as elevators to access floors not located on the street level. Brewpub operations include activity that takes place in a basement and on a 2nd floor with stairs being the only access. Ability to comfortably and competently negotiate stairs is a primary function of this position.

• Constant use of hands and arms
• Must frequently lift/push/pull and/or move up to 40 pounds (plate/utensil tubs; ingredient containers; chairs; tables)
• Must routinely assist with moving kegs which may weigh 165 pounds.
• Must be willing to work with cleaning chemicals in a safe manner
