Neapolitan-Style Pizza Maker

We are seeking a passionate individual interested in learning the craft of making Neapolitan-style pizzas. If you already know how that's great too!

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain pizza dough for Neapolitan-style pizzas
  • Create pizzas to order, ensuring consistency and quality
  • Operate and maintain gas-fired pizza ovens
  • Manage inventory of ingredients and supplies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Train and mentor junior staff members
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

Requirements:

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • Food handler's certification (or willingness to obtain)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience making Neapolitan-style pizzas
  • Knowledge in dough preparation and fermentation techniques
  • Knowledge of gas-fired pizza oven operation
  • Understanding of Neapolitan-style pizza ingredients and toppings
  • Experience with various pizza styles beyond traditional Neapolitan
  • Experience in a high-volume pizzeria or Italian restaurant
  • Creativity in developing new pizza recipes while maintaining Neapolitan-style characteristics

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Heat tolerance for working near hot ovens
